We're just a small group of friends who built Lettre to create something meaningful, not just for ourselves but for everyone who shares our love for authenticity and depth innate in letters. While the app is free, (unfortunately) keeping it running isn’t. Like you, we dislike annoying ads and have no interest in selling out to big corporations or using predatory monetization tactics. Instead of being backed by “the man”, we’re backed by something far stronger: the power of friendship (and a community that believes in what we’re building).

Every dollar spent on Lettre isn’t just a transaction; it’s a contribution to keeping our vision and this community alive. Thanks to each and every one of you who have supported us, it’s because of you that we’ve been able to keep this experience truly free for everyone.

“No ads” has been our promise since day one and because of you, we intend to keep it that way for the unforeseeable future.

Community-funded just sounds better to us. ❤️

PS: We have tried to keep the price of the membership as low as we possibly can (less than an average cup of latte) so each and every member of our community can enjoy the perks & freebies from it - especially in this economy.
